As a family business, RBN Insurance & Associates has steadily grown over a quarter century into an experienced team of insurance and employee benefits brokers who assess risk, identify cost-efficient approaches to insurance, and negotiate with carriers to deliver comprehensive options at competitive prices.

Challenges

The company’s family-owned origins presented obstacles to growth. We worked with different generations to ensure that the RBN’s heritage and ways of doing business would be preserved while simultaneously modernizing the company’s look-and-feel; as well as its appeal to prospective clients whose choice of high-quality competitors has only grown over the past 2 ½ decades.

Solutions

CWA organized RBN’s services into a logical structure that prospective (and current) clients could understand, and from which they could derive real value. Since RBN’s visual identity was gathering dust and its brand messaging was inaccurate, we designed a sharp blue symbol, changed the tagline, and set about presenting informative text, alternated with new photos of their team, skyscraper office and Chicago skyline views. We introduced a strong, modern color palette and bold sans-serif typography to modernize the company.
