Who said stick figures can’t be art? Where written and oral communication just don’t cut it, you can try your hand at sketching out your ideas. It enables people in the group to pitch a concept, and physically allow others to build on it. It can give your team a chance to develop each other’s ideas and expand them with different perspectives.

Writing down ideas on sticky notes allow you to list any key points that you want to be incorporated in your final product. You can arrange these notes and start forming relationships that allow you to intertwine different ideas into clearer concepts. By doing so, you are able to map your train of thought and see which ideas make for the best course of action.
Think about extraordinary and out of this world solutions to achieve your agenda. Don’t worry if it’s impossible to do it, just be creative and think of unique ideas, let your imagination take over. Create a list of these wild concepts and figure out why they’re impossible to do. Discuss how you can make these concepts more realistic—possibly by downscaling and utilizing resources, you may already have. You’d be surprised at how close you can actually get.
Forming relationships between unrelated objects allows your brain to exercise its creativity. It forces you to think outside the box and fill in gaps in order to make connections. For example, take 2 unrelated objects from your office and try to find a way in order to make a connection between the two. This is like making connections between completely different ideas in order to form a new concept that could help achieve your end goal.
Writing allows everyone in a group to pitch their idea and build upon them. Have a sheet of paper and write down your idea, then pass it around to the next person to write their ideas while building on yours. Keep on doing this until everyone had the chance to do so. Everyone gets a chance to equally express their thoughts and collaborate with each other. This activity doesn’t just enhance current ideas, it also enhances the spirit of teamwork within the group.
